Four elements to a successful security program
Proper personnel selection
We focus on a careful assessment of client properties, in-depth interviews with clients, and proper vetting of potential candidates through select questions.
Through recruiting with this perspective, we forge the property culture from the very beginning. We believe that it is this step, and how very specific pieces are presented from the very beginning, that make the biggest impact on performance, retention, and client acceptance.
Consistent training
SGSI is an industry leader in training, development, and implementation. We believe in the idea of continuous improvement, and we work hard to ensure that teams are updated, taught new skills, re-taught the basics, and always remain grounded on the expectations.
This prevents poor "pass downs" and incorrect habits. We strive to have as much live interaction and face to face engagement for our training, as we believe that is the most effective way to aid staff in the objectives that clients expect.
Staff supervision
SGSI offers 24/7 supervision through operations managers and account managers during the day, and road supervision during the key hours of the overnight to clients who do not have an onsite director of security. This arrangement allows us to monitor and regulate teams for their specific tasks in a way that is supportive of the staff while providing accountability for the client.
Effective account management
Each of our clients are provided a team designated just for them. In addition, the ancillary teams (recruiters, accounting, training) are educated on the specific guidelines for each individual client expectation.
Operationally, every account is provided a static operations manager, account manager, ad supervisor, and all have a direct line to ownership at all times. Check-ins are weekly, and decisions are made swiftly to ensure clients are satisfied with their staff, the procedures, and the service provided.
